Heavy Gear Blitz from Dream Pod 9 -

The Hallmarks of Heavy Gear Blitz are anime-style giant robot miniatures, with a fast-paced tactical, objective-based game play. The main Locked & Loaded Rulebook provides a solid army construction system that allows players to field combined-arms forces, featuring Infantry, Tanks, Striders, and anthropomorphic combat robots called Gears, all the tools necessary to master the 62nd century battlefield. In addition, our new Field Manual (Core Rulebook Companion) takes the game to the next level, with rules updates and easy-to-reference rules flowcharts.

For beginning players, a low-cost Two Player Starter Kit provides an excellent choice to learn the rules as well as providing both players a starting point for building either a Northern or Southern Faction Army.
Players can easily complete the sub-squads from the Starter Kit with the purchase of a Hunter or Jager Two Pack blister, which includes two Gear miniatures and optional weapons. The Starter Kit includes small b&w versions of the HGB Locked & Loaded and Field Manual books, four D6 dice and a measuring tape. New players can also opt to jump into the game with one of four Starter Army Boxes for either the Northern, Southern, Peace River, or Port Arthur Korps Factions. Each Starter Army set contains two full combat groups of miniatures along with extra weapon options or in the case of PAK a Grel Infantry Platoon and four light hovertanks. The Army Boxes include a full size b&w version of the HGB Locked & Loaded Rulebook, four D6 dice and a measuring tape.

All Dream Pod 9 products are manufactured in North America, our high-quality lead-free pewter and resin miniatures are cast at our studio in Montreal, Canada and our books are Printed in the USA. You can check us out online at www.dp9.com for photo galleries of all our miniatures and free downloads such as the Gear Garage army construction software, or join our moderated, family-friendly, online community at www.dp9forum.com to find local players and events or get any rules questions answered.

Come join us on the sun-scorched world of Terra Nova, the Home of Humanities hardiest pioneers, and Gear Up for fast-paced Mecha Battles, because this ain’t your Father’s Giant Robot Game!
