Well we got any here on Dakka? I've loved bull riding ever since I was little and still watch or go whenever I can.

I thought you meant Pabst blue ribbon.

I guess my answer is still "only as a curiosity, but not regularly" for either.

Well no I didn't mean Pabst blue ribbon, whatever that is

It's a cheap beer that is commonly referred to by it's initials, even in commercials, thus the confusion.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

PBR me ASAP is their jingle. As for the beer, skip it. I would put it in the category with Iron City or Old Millwaukee.

So what does PBR have to do with bull riding? (Unless it is something you attempt after too much PBR)

I got smashed off PBR once in NYC because they sold it in cans in a dive bar for about 80 cents a can. It left me with a bizarre ringing in my ears, red tinged vision, and is one of the few times I've managed to gak the bed, so I've gave up drinking it. It wouldn't have been so bad but I was staying in a 6 man room

I don't know what the hell the other PBR is.. but I doubt its as much fun.

We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

the other PBR is professional Bull Riding. Rodeo.

Like I said, something to enjoy from time to time as a curiosity, but not a mainstay.

How can you be a fan of Professional Bull Riding and not know about Pabst?

I agree with Polonius about it as a curiosity. I just can't understand the scoring system. A lot like boxing, in that respect.

Ive drank myself to near alcohol poisoning and maybe beyond more than a few times when I was a teenager/early 20's and have never managed to crap myself, that boggles my mind how that even happens!

Though one time I passed out cold while taking a crap, but that is a little different

I'm guessing it has to do with being abroad. Most of the stories I've heard where people soil themselves it's when in a foriegn country. Mix different booze with different water, and you've got a ticking time bomb.

Probably work

Friends don't let friends drink PBR, just like they don't let friends ride bulls.

Well, I'm imagining it's possible for two hipsters in brooklyn to be friends, so they'd let each other drink PBR.

Rodeo is fun. I remember brining an inner city LA boy to a neighborhood rodeo, and the bull came over/threw the fence in front of us. He freaked out. It was so choice.

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

I would appreciate it if the discussion about alcaholic beverages would stop since my OP clearly states that the discussion is about Bull Riding.

All due respect:

1) your OP wasn't exactly clear, or multiple people wouldn't have misread it
2) I think the fact that everybody is having more fun discussing beer essentially answers your question.

My mom used to ride bulls. I don't know why that's important, but it feels like it is.
