Unified Theory Games has released a new Bonus Combatant from their upcoming Vortex: Core Rulebook: a Drop Trooper. This bonus combatant can be used to represent a paratrooper, an orbital insertion soldier, or a magically deployed sorcerer. This additional content is for use with UTG's free downloadable Vortex: Basic Battlefield Rules.

Vortex is a fully customizable miniature skirmish game for use with any miniature in any setting. The Vortex: Core Rulebook, releasing in early May of 2011, will contain complete steps for creating customized combatants, as well as a full campaign system.
