OK here are the lists I have been playing around with. Currently playing at 1500. Please give me your opinions on any/all the lists + how I play them.
Lost with
Deceiver
Warriors 2 * 14
Destroyers 2 * 3
Lord + orb +

Played vs Chaos for the second time and I lost by phasing out turn 3. I phased first time too but can't remember what I played. I got him scared with the Star god. The deceiver took out a tough bike squad, a demon prince and 6 or 7 berserkers and scared the player to death. The clinch was he lashed a warrior troop nice and tight then dropped a massive template over them all. All dead but two. Orb saved insta-death so chance of
WBB. Unfortunately my lord ran off with the last warriors and the
WBB made them join the broken unit and failed leadership so they ran off.
Scored a win with
Lord + Destroyer body, GoF, Phylactery, phase shifter &
WS
Lord + orb + Solar pulse
Warriors 3*10
Destroyers 2 *3
Scarabs *5

I beat orks second game, I think I played all my warriors out and proud so managed to get lots of shots off rather than hiding, Destroyers got tied up in
cc as the orks could move massive distances and attack with the truks, we did annihilation and I lost my scarabs (got rolled to death) + one troop of warriors and a lord. He lost all his trucks + one lot of warriors and a special of some sort. basically I phased out my crons from
CC and rapid fired his numbers down till he could be chased off the board. I played the destroyer lord out on his own but he did not do much. He popped one truk but that was it.
I am looking at the following two lists for different opponents
The all rounder
I don't have immortals yet but will get some or proxy if I have too. Thinking about using different colours on the warriors rods or something,
So Immortals for the punch, Scarabs for objective contesting. Tomb spiders for anti
cc or tank which ever gets too close to my warrior / immorals. Will play all in the middle of the table and slowly move to objectives. Maybe one lot of scarabs in reserve.
Lord Orb +
SP - 160
Warriors 2*10 - 360
Immortals 2 *10 - 560
Tomb Spiders * 2 -110
Scarabs 2*3 - 72
Lith - 235
Vs. Marines
Not sure which marines but my next opponent get stuck into
cc fast. They tank/transporter off any side of the board 12" and attack 6" and some of them have jump packs too. They use lighten claws. I think I worked out I would on average lose 12-14 warriors on his assault. I can't speed bump with the scarabs as I don't know what direction he will come in on plus he could jump them. The idea is I will only lose one warrior group on the assault so reducing the exposure risk of getting ran off the board. I will play them as 5 lots of 10 i think (not sure if this is best?). The Ctan is for combat protection will mince in to anything that is assaulted. I will only play my Scarabs to run after marines that fail leadership tests so they can not regroup.
Deceiver - 300
Warriors 5*10 - 900
Scarabs 5 - 60
Lith - 235
Let me know what you thinka about my troops. I did get a good bit of advice about holding some troops in reserve to prevent phase out. I like the insurance but would prefer everything on the table shooting up my opponent.
Thanks for any advice you can give
