hi guys, I'm new to the forums here....I've just starting playing hordes, but I've played WM, WH and WHF in the past. This is my first list....

35 pt list

Lord Tyrant Hexeris---+6

Titan Gladiator---8pt

Rhinodon---7pt

Razor Wurm---4pt

Cyclops shaman---5pt

Karax (10)--6pt

Venators (min)---5pts

Pain Givers (min)---2pts

Extoler Soulward X2---4pts


I am seeing this as a Death star-esq army... The beasts (minus the cyclops) and the pain givers go forward as a vanguard, while the karax form the wall and shield the venators, hexeris, and the soulwards while they blast everything to pieces....Seems okey?

Nothing in this list will be anywhere near deathstar esque.

I would switch out both Extollers for Hakaar the Destroyer (same points cost).

Otherwise its a good start.

Okey...so i picked up Hakaar today... I guess the idea is a balance of melee and range....are swordsmen necessary latter on? I really don't find them all that great..

Swordsmen are the second best skorne infantry option after Nihilators. The are cheap, have two attacks and together with UA have good presence on the battlefield.
