Some of you may have seen my posts in the 40k forums about Army Creator Mobile that currently creates 40k lists on Android devices and is available on the Android market. This app is expandable to other games and I'm trying to see whether there is anyone out there that would like to work on creating a data file for Warmachine/Hordes. I realize that there are free programs online that already do this and there is a free Android/iPhone app available that is popular. I'm looking to offer a little more with these lists as well as giving access to multiple game systems within one app.
Anyone who is interested in doing this, I can give you a free copy of the app and instructions for how to create the file. I have an Excel tool that creates xml files the app reads, so if you can perform simple data entry in Excel, then you can work with these files. If you are interested, please message me.

What more would you be adding? Ibodger already handles
collections of models, army lists, etc.

And rules reference, too, along with pictures of each model in case you're unsure what exactly you're getting into. Unless you're adding cards for all the models as well (which I sincerely doubt Privateer would appreciate), there's not really anything I can think to add.

That, or if you're adding editable damage grids, but I imagine that's just a bit more complicated than editing an .xml file. Sorry, sticking to iBodger.

The other thing is the theme lists. The guy who programmed iBodger said that the code relating the the discounts and who can take wait took up over half the code and that was before the last couple of books were released.
If the program is created I'll try it out but iBodger is top and it's gonna take something special to compete.

Damage grids on the phone? That would be nice.

My app is designed more like AB, but does not have any rules in them. What it does provide for is list customization and management and I will be adding more personalization to it in the coming months (adding pics of your models using your phone's camera, renaming units, etc.). I personally have not played much of Warmachine, so I'm open to suggestions of what people would like to see if you were going to switch.
Pics of cards would not come with the app or data file, but I could add an option to use the phone's camera to integrate with the app if people want it. Damage charts could probably be integrated as well. As for themed lists, there are already many options in the app for different point costs for units and choices through the 40k lists. There may need to be a tweak or two, but this could be used for Warmachine as well.
If there is no interest, I will look for other games to add. But I am open to giving what people want to see in an app, especially one in which someone purchases. I admit that iBodger is a great free app for Warmachine, but it is not perfect.

Well, if you're adding code for damage grids that can be edited on the fly, I'd definitely be interested in it. Having to rely on home made data files is a bit of a turn-off though.
