Ork-Hunting Inquisitorial Xenokiller

Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

So I went to my FLGS today for 40K night, and played a pick-up game of 1000 points. I used my Orks, and he played Space Wolves. My opponent had a squad of Bikes, Bjorn, Lucas the Trickster, a squad of Grey Hunters, and Blood Claws. My list included a Warboss, Big Mek with KFF, 11 'Ard Boyz( including PK Nob), 10 Nobz,(with various loadout(to take advantage of multi-wounds), 3 Deff Kopta's, a Killa Kan, Deff Dread, and 2 looted Wagons(with red paint job).

I won the rolloff to see who went first, so I set up my Looted Wagons in the center of my deployment zone, right on the 12" mark. IO then placed my walkers on either side of my transports, and placed my Deffcopta's to the side of the Deff Dread. My opponent laid his out a little more defensively in his side, behind what little cover there was. I used my scout move to bring my Deff Kopta's closer to my opponent.

On Turn one I moved both transports up 13", then ran my walker, and moved my Kan up a bit as well. I moved my Deff kopta's to provide cover for my Deff Dread. I also fired at Bjorn with the Kan and Kopta's, but missed. My opponent then moved his forces a little closer(mainly having a close combat oriented army), took some shots, and killed two Deff Kopta's.

Turn 2, I tank shocked his bikes, which failed thier leadership, and fled off the board. I then disembarked from my looted wagon, and was within assault range to his Blood Claws(with Lucas attached), My other transport went towards his Grey hunters, and the Ard Boys were within assault range as well. I moved my Deff Dread up, and tried again to shoot with my Kan and sole remaining DeffKopta, but once again I failed. Then the assault began, and all went well! I massacred his Grey hunters with my Ard Boyz, and my nobs killed his Blood Klaws. All he was left with was Bjorn, and Lucas! Well on his turn two, he shot, my Ard Boyz, and killed them all(except for the Nob, and Warboss) He then charged, and preceded to kill, stomp, rip, and decimate my Warboss! Fortunatly though my Nob had a PK, which hit Bjorn twice, both hits were translated into penetrating hits! I then rolled for damage, a five and a six. At this point I thought my luck was going to run out, as I had to reroll because of Bjorn being Venerable, well I happened to roll a one.... AND A FIVE! I was assaulted by a Dreadnaught, and yet I lived. I was quite pleased with the results. Well next we had to resolve combat for the Nobz Vs Lucas, He did one wound to a Nob, while my Power Klaws turned him into a corpse.

This was the end of the game, as I managed to table him at the end of turn two. I don't know how I got so lucky, but I did.

Lucas didn't get to explode Stasis goo all over your orks? That would have sucked, lol.

Good win man.
