First dread I did, also with this mini I´m guiding gf to do most of the painting (teaching her to paint mini to a decent enough level).

I sculpted some crystals on the base for added effect and the arms are magnetizes with all kind of weapon options exchangeable.

The front torso plate was cut through in a neat way to show the marine power armour torso underneath. That was done in a red colour to add a story to the dreadnought (its occupant was a techmarine).
Its not that well shown in the pictures but still.
Sculpted some scales on the shin armour to make it look more like a salamanders dreadnought.

Suggestions of what is good and/or needs improvement appreciated, I want to be better at the next big batch of FW ven dreads I´m resculpting to act as Salamanders ven dreads.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

it looks absolutely amazing, apart from one thing, you have been way too heavy-handed with the extreme edge highlights, they need to be thin, consistent lines, not bars of colour. you will notice this most on the shoulders and arms in the first picture. the blending is great, but the edges kind of ruin it for me. good job on the base and plasma gun as well

Exquisite green panels you've done! well done mrs Pyriel! I love the nmm on the legs, it really adds to the look overall of the model, the crystals are a nice touch and add a bit of color to the base, it's very, very controlled brush strokes you have shown on the panels, I don't know how you get them to be so even and straight so they blend perfectly!

looks awesome the only thing that lets it down is the highlighting on the edges... nice base I like the crystals
