Settra states that you must spend 50% on Charriots, Heavy Cavalry, and Tomb Guard. Do you think this means you still follow the percentages in main rule book? or does this overide and you can spend 50% on Tomb Guard for instance. It does not specificallly say you must buy all three units, just that 50% must be spent. I would appreciate some views on this subject.

It does not specifically override the rulebook.

You must spend 50% of your points on those 3 units. If you cannot spend all 50% on just one unit, because you are otherwise restricted either by the rulebook or a lack of models on your part, then you MUST buy other units.

However, arnt TG special? You can spend 50% points on special...

Yeah...so I suppose the answer is "no, you are restricted by both. But they don't conflict with each other anyway".

I think that, if the phrase is indeed "you must spend 50% on Charriots, Heavy Cavalry, and Tomb Guard", you would have to spend a total of 50% of your points on a combination of all three.
That said, a possible combination could be 0%, 0%, and 50%.

I suppose you could try and argue that the 50% applies to each unit type individually, and I can't think of the jargon required to disprove that at the moment, but I could also look to math (three 50% does not compute).
...though I bet someone, somewhere, will try and argue that he gets 150% of his points on these units. But then I'd probably make the claim that this means that no one could ever take Settra.

...anyway. Yeah, you're fine.
