Hey guys! I just finished painting up this test model for a tutorial I'm gonna make some time soon

I used 4 colors:

Ultramarines Blue
Chaos Black
Skull White
Boltgun Metal

Now, how I made the model(if you don't want to read the whole rambling just look down and see the pics!). First of I base coated the whole model in Chaos Black. Simple. Then I mixed down some Ultramarines Blue and Chaos Black at a random ratio really.. I've never been much for measuring. But I'd say it was somewhere around 4:1 Blue - Black. After mixing those I painted all his cloth in it, making sure and watching that the inside part of his hood remained black. After that had dried I took some Chaos Black and watered it down.. heavily and gave the model a wash. As I waited for the wash to dry I added a little Skull white to the mixture of blue and black I already had(note: I was using a wet pallet so I wouldn't have to mix the original color all over again.). Once the wash had dried I then used the slightly lightened color to highlight the whole miniature. Then added a little more white and highlighted more, this time only going over half the strokes I did at first. As a last step for the cloth I then added some more white and painted over only 1/4 of all the strokes I already did. The metal was fairly simple.. one round of boltgun metal and then one round of the black wash I already made.

C&C welcome!

Looks good, even though personally I would have made him more gray and less blue, but that's just my opinion man.

Thank you =) Well, I was going for a blueish grey and it sorta came out in a more blue tone. But since I'm just playing around with my LOtR figures I just as well might try to go for a more grey less blue next time.
