Okay I read that the Culexis Assassin has a weapon that gets more shots for every Psyker within 12inches of him.
So since every Grey Knight is a Psyker does that mean if he somehow ends up in the middle of like 3 squads of Grey Knights or so would he get a shot for every knight within 12? Cuz if he does that means he could wipe off a whole Grey Knight army himself!

No, Brotherhood of Psykers make the uint count as 1 Psyker.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

according to GW each grey knight counts

"While you can't rely on the enemy having brought psykers, note that the word 'enemy' was not included in the explanation above. In short, your Grey Knights count too. Place your Culexus in the heart of your army, and his Animus Speculum'll be putting out ten or more shots each turn."

Wouldn't be the first time GW got its own rules wrong on its website.

Overblown latest codex is overblown? couldn't be. I dont think anything as specific as that quote could be a typo though, and surely someone would edit such a glaring rules defining statement if it could be interpreted as.. well anything but what it says. I hate to say it, but yeah, broken is broken no matter if it's stoopid-level unbalanced, it's there plain as day unless he meant you are likely to have 8 or more GK squads within 12".

Retroactively applied infallability is its own reward. I wish I knew this years ago.

I'm both chaotic and orderly. I value my own principles, and am willing to go to extreme lengths to enforce them, often trampling on the very same principles in the process. At best, I'm heroic and principled; at worst, I'm hypocritical and disorderly.

Then again, I've noted several stats/rule mixups from current codexes quoted wrong on their "What's New Today" blog these past few weeks. I think they lost an editorial staff or two is all. XD

The correct question is, would I be enjoying this hobby if I did this?

The correct audience is you.

I remember them messing up the Broodlord powers when the nids came out...

And whilst you're pointing and shouting at the boogeyman in the corner, you're missing the burglar coming in through the window.

Well, Duh! Because they had a giant Mining ship. If you had a giant mining ship you would drill holes in everything too, before you'd destory it with a black hole

That article on the site is clearly wrong. There are inconsistencies in the GK codex but this is not one of them, the rule clearly states that GK units count as a single psyker.
