They are almost the same;
35$ (chimera) + 36$ (conversion kit) = 71$
43£ = 70.25$ forgeworld complete kit.
Granted most Imperial players will have a spare chimera, but still.

Which is why you get the chimera from eBay for =< $30. If you're lucky, you could easily do the whole project for less than $60 USD.
Or, use GalaxyGobbo for the chimera ($26.25) and skip all of the stress of bidding.

Also, it isn't exactly like the Forgeworld versions, so if you like one look better than another, you at least have a choice. Not sure what the resin quality is, but it can't be worse than Forgeworld's.

Wow- a few really great things on that site, but the more unique bases are the ones that really stand out (and look like a decent value).

Why did they make a not-FW Hydra for equivalent costs when the FW one looks better? Why did they make a not-FW Manticore for equivalent costs when the FW one AND the GW one look better?
