Does anyone have suggestions as to what kits would be suitable sources for cult limousines. Plastic kits would probably be 1/48 or 1/43, but cars are smaller than tanks so you might be able to get up to 1/35 without it looking silly.

Then there's the styles, the mafia look is quite nice and the standard look, I'd even thought that they should have hovering cars futuristic cars like in the computer game Syndicate Wars rather than wheels. But I can't help feeling that a cult could also work by avoiding the urban appearance and going for a more rough a ready the hill billy look and all ride around in pickups with machine guns like in Mad Max with the human cultists wearing dungarees and waving pitchforks.

Anyway, that aside, does anyone know if these from an old White Dwarf were converted or completely scratchbuilt?

They are scratchbuilds off of model car kits, there were never any models for them.

My 'limousine' is going to be a FW Cassus mobile bunker lol

Someone here did a cult for a tournament but I can't remember who. But they did them on sandy gravel bases which I'd never seen done before on genestealers and that made me think you could go all the way and make them look like they had taken control of some low technology desert planet.

Any scale Model (Or toy) Cars would probaly work but would require Plasticard and weapons. I also find it stange they have Khorne Symbols.

The limo on the right looks like a kit-bash, but the one on the left looks like it could be a scratch-build. Looks like it'd be pretty easy, too. As far as wheels vs. hover I think it's easy to inject other visions of sci-fi into the 40k 'verse. For most civilian human settlements, life is in a giant hive. I really don't think hover cars are the norm.
