Subject: Where to find WFRP 2nd edition?
|
 |
Servoarm Flailing Magos

Hello all,
Been playing a lot of mordheim lately and have been thinking of getting into WFRP. However, I don't like the look of the most recent 3rd edition, and have heard that the 2nd edition is more similar to the 40k RP line, which I am already familiar with. However, I cannot seem to find any of the core rules anywhere, ebay and google shopping both! Does anybody know where to find simply the core rulebook for 2nd edition?

The books for that version -- which I love -- do come up on ebay fairly often from what I've seen. They do tend to go fast though. Some of the adventures -- especially the "Paths of the damned" trilogy -- go for silly money at times, alas.
.. and yes before anyone "helpfully" chips in ; we all know that there's torrent sites and the like.
If i see it come up again I'll wing a link your way.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

If you like Mordheim and WFRP you will love the Karak Azgal book for WFRP. There is lots of potential for hybred games of skirmish set in, around, and under the old ruins.
