Subject: Servants of Chaos and their personalitys?

Hey guys, I am a fan of chaos but there are some things that I do not know about them.....This one thing has been bugging me! I really would like to understand if their is a concept of friendship to those who serve chaos. For example is it possible that somebody kills a friend of a chaos marine or renegade and then they go all frenzy screaming at them because of their dead combat brothers? Or perhaps they prey for the death of their brothers after they die? Or are their situations when a chaos marine will lift his wounded brother and lay him next to cover?
It is difficult to believe that servants of chaos do not have these personalities! How can chaos do that well without leadership an brother hood? There must some care to the man fighting by your side.
Perhaps it depends on the God you hail and the legion you are from...

Yep, which is why the World Eaters don't exist as a legion any more.
I would imagine 'enlightened self interest' holds the warbands and remains of the great legions together. Working together to ensure success.
As to rescuing the injured, I don't see why friendships would not exist among certain factions, plague marines for example, or Red Corsairs.

I could imagine the Word Bearers praying for a fallen battle brother, conversely I would imagine Noise Marines to be completely oblivious of their comrades in the heat of battle.

Sigh, someone grab a broom, brother philip broke again. Seriously though, they're probably careful to recover there fallen brother's armor so they can ressurect him again.

The first Word Bearers book actually deals with this concept. Marduk calls another WB CSM Burias a "friend". he's reluctant in doing so and it's basically along the lines "You're a...er...friend".
I don't see any reason why at least some CSM' wouldn't have a kind of comradely with each other, though my suspension of disbelief with it does not go beyond their own Legion.

Yeah, when Arhiman performed the Rubric spell, only those Thousand Sons who had been tainted with mutation were turned to dust; the rest had their psychic powers amplified, and became the sorcerers that would lead the remainder of the legion.
