Im starting skaven up and everywhere i read they say that a BSB is a must have.....what makes the BSB so good. im also told for skaven to take the storm banner, is the storm banner my BSB whats the diffrence?

BSB allows you to reroll failed leadership tests to units within 12 inches I believe. So if you fail say a fear test against a unit that causes fear, normally reducing your WS to 1. Or if a nearby unit loses combat and you fail the test you can reroll the test so you don't run away. As for a magic banner they are OK on the BSB, but typically you want your BSB to have magic defense items, in most armies cases it's either the magic banner or magic equipment not both. If you want the storm banner you do have the option to give them to a few select elite units like Stormvermin and Plague Monks.
