I'm interested in exactly what kind of Titans the Dark Mechanicus uses. I always assumed they just operated the Knights/Warhound/Reaver/Warlord/Imperators like Imperial Titan Legions, but I've heard of stuff like Chaos Feral Titans, Ravager Titans, Banelords, etc.. Does anybody have information on the latter Titans and what kind of Titans the Dark Mechanicus operates?

York/London(for weekends) oh for the glory of the british rail industry

They use all the same titan classes used by Mars, they have just had thousands of years to be effected by chaos.

Feral titans are not a class, they represent titans who's machine spirit have devolved into that of feral animals.

Relictors: 1500pts

its safe to say that relictors are the greatest army a man , nay human can own.

I'm cancelling you out of shame like my subscription to White Dwarf. - Mark Corrigan: Peep Show

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

Basically, a traitor titan legion will mostly use the same machines than their Imperial counterparts.

So, a traitor titan legion will mostly use warhounds, reavers, warlords, and (sometimes) imperators.

This is due to the fact that most traitor legions don't have access to forge worlds and their massive industrial production capabilities. And since titans are extremely expensive pieces of technology, most traitor legions still use exactly the same engines as 10 000 years before.

But some titans, after 10 000 years of continuous exposure to the energies of the warp, have been strangely twisted and mutated, to the point that they now have a completely different appearance than at their first inception. This is the case of Banelords, which are basically warlord titans that have been horribly transformed by Chaos.

In some cases, a traitor titan legion will be able to create its own forge world deep in the Eye, thus being able to produce its own new design of titans. Hence, some Banelords are not "converted" Warlords, but completely new titans, built in hellish forges deep in the Eye.

"How many more worlds do we sacrifice? How many more millions or billions do we betray before we turn and fight?" - attributed to Captain Leoten Semper of Battlefleet Gothic - Gothic War, the evacuation of Belatis.

If commanding a Titan is a measure of true power, then commanding a warship is like having one foot on the Golden Throne - Navy saying.
