Yeah if you guys didn't know this but the Midwest has been getting the weirdest weather lately from Snow to Rain Storms to Beautiful days to Snow Storms. Weather patterns seem to be getting stranger and stranger...loads of tornado activity through out the South East this week.

Yeah, it happened by me. And guess what? By 2 P.M. the only stuff remaining was a very picturesque dusting on the trees and shrubs. Heck, the grass seems even greener afterwards. I'm not complaining.

In my area it's not so much a "change" in typical weather patterns ,it's more the intensity of the storms.
EDIT:...Though summers do seem much more brutal now.

Heh...When Atlanta and the surrounding areas had their "huge snow storm" this year the whole city came to a screeching halt...I belive we got a foot of snow....of course,being The South...we're not geared to deal with snow storms in any way ,shape or form.

A) you can use shovels to remove it from places where you don't want it, like roads or sidewalks
B) If you drive slower and brake sooner, you can use your car just fine.
C) It's fun! Go sledding, skiing, snowball fights, there are too many fun things to do with snow.

I get that...but...without a city/state plan to deal with iced over roads/freeways...the whole area became one giant slip and slide for anyone attempting to drive for about a week.

I myself couldn't get out of my neighborhood,it's at the top of a series of hills,first attempt lead to my car free sliding for about 30 or 40 feet...which lead me to then opt for section D " Go Home...park,go inside and paint minis until the ice melts".

Oh yeah, especially in Spring. When I lived in Minnesota it would sometimes gte into the 60's in early March, only to drop 3 inches of snow a week later. It wasn't quite as bad near Chicago, in part due to Lake Michigan and its homogenizing effect on weather patterns. Now that I live in Central Illinois it back to wild fluctuations. Two weeks ago it was up ~80, and today it was in the 30's.

I can attest to that. I've seen it snow in late may on a few occasions, even hail in July. I've also witnessed 90 degree heat waves in January. Weather in Cleveland is more of a suggestion than anything. We have a saying that if you hate the weather wait 15 minutes. Lake Erie does strange stuff to the weather sometimes!
