Dark Angels Neophyte Undergoing Surgeries





Ok, olaying (friendly) a space marine army tomorrow with my tyranids. its 1750 points and i was wondering if there any tactics i can use to help me defeat them, we are playing annihilation
(please keep in mind these are the models i have so cant change actual units.)

These are the lists:


Tyranids:

HQ:
- Swarmlord ~ 280 points

Elites:
- Zoanthrope (1) ~ 60 points

Troops:
- Warriors (6), deathspitters, scything talons, adrenal glands, toxin sacs, venom cannon ~ 280 points
- Termagants (30), fleshborers ~ 150 points
- Geanstealers (8), scything talons, toxin sacs, adrenal glands, broodlord with st ~ 195 points
- Geanstealers (8) ~ 112 points
- Geanstealers (9) ~ 126 points

Fast Attack:
- Gragoyles (20), toxin sacs, adrenal glands ~ 180 points

Heavy Support:
- Carnifex (1), 2x twin devourers with brainleech ~ 190 points
- Carnifex (1), bioplasma ~ 180 points

Total: 1753 points


Space Marines:

HQ:
- Captain (1), storm bolter, lightning claw, artificar armour ~ 130(?) ish

Elites:
- Terminators (5), Storm bolter/power fist, sarge ~ 200 points
- Dreadnought (1), Assault Cannon, Heavy Flamer ~ 130(?) ish

Troops:
- Tactical Squad (10), flamer, missle launcher, sarge ~ 170 points
- Tactical Squad (10), flamer, missle launcher, sarge ~ 170 points

Fast Attack:
- Land Speeders (2), Assault Cannons x2, Heavy Bolters x2 ~ 180 points
- Assault Squad (5), plasma pistol, power fist, storm shield ~ 155 points
-Assault Squad (5), plasma pistol x2, power weapon ~ 145 points

Heavy Support:
- Predator (1), Twin lascannons, lascannon sponsons ~ 165 points
- Land Raider Redeemer (1), Multi Melta, Extra Armour ~ 275 points




What should my tactics be here? What should i take out quickly, Etc.

With the tyranid list I am sorry to say that a lott of the tactic lies in the armylist since the codex is not very well multi build oriantainted.

But since he only has missile lanchers as AOE I would put a gargoyle screen and a termagant screen trying to give cover to the carnifex and warriors and zoanthrope.

The best wouuld be if he could not se the zoanthrope at all as it is curently your only awser to the redeemer.

Try to cast the WS BS 1 power on the terminators if you manadge to open that landraider and charge with gaunts and gargoyles.

Good luck, you will need it. (In short, he will blow up half your army before you reach him. By that time he will hit the reverse gear and will shot up the remaining army with little or no losses.)
