I am thinking of painting up some Iron Warriors, maybe someday producing them into an army. I plan on doing them with an airbrush however.

What would be the ideal colours for it that I could get in bigger pots? I haven't seen any Vallejo Airbrush Metallic paints. Would you guys suggest the normal Vallejo paints for them, and just water them down?

If so, what sort of pot does it come in, and are there any sites you would suggest over their main page? (It is in Spanish for me)

Lastly, what colors, I was thinking a Tin Bitz sort of color, a Boltgun Metal Color, then a Chainmail color. following that would be a badab black wash.

I know it's not an airbrush technique, but I paint my Iron Warriors with Boltgun Metal, Badab Black wash, then a drybrush on top of Boltgun Metal:

Those look really nice, I would do that, in fact that is what I have done on a few already. However, I really like the looks of the airbrush on metallic marines, with the ability to simulate lighting.

How did you do the gold?

My gold is Tin Bitz worked up to Shining Gold with Gryphonne Sepia in the recesses and Burnished Gold highlights. It's really simple and looks very nice. If you wanted to go one highlight better for a more "gleaming" gold, you could use Mithril instead or on top of the Burnished Gold.
