thanks guys, i am not a fan of the model either but it came with the box set and i thought i would use it as a test model. now all i need to do is pull my finger out and paint the rest of my army

I know (as well as most of us im sure) that the captain model you painted is basically one piece....this makes your paint work even more impressive. Your first mini in 4 years looks fantastic. The purple is a nice contrast to the red as well. Nice work, good color choices and great skill!

Your painting is excellent, its a beautiful mini. The only thing is that tone purple and red clash, they arn't really complimentary colours, its down to taste though i guess
