Hello,

Can Zagstruck and his stormboyz unit fleet due to the waaagh! rule on the turn they swoop attack when deepstriking?

On the GW site, the faq has erased the waaagh! special rule from the stormboyz page and army list entry, but not from Zagstrucks page. I'm confused about Zagstruck being a special character or unit upgrade, because the stormboyz entry in the codex army list states that instead of a nob, one mob may be led by zagstruck

I would think that the answer to my question is "No", but why would GW leave the waaagh! special rule on zagstrucks page?

Thanks in advance

Reread Waagh, notice it only applies to Infantry.

I saw that. If I'm not mistaken, that was in the original printing of the codex. The errata erased the Waaagh! special rule from Bikers, Deffkoptas (jetbikes), and Stormboyz, and not from Zagstruck. So is it a case of sloppy errata, or are Stormboyz intended to Waaagh! with Zagstruck?

OK, try again...

Waaagh! ONLY has an effect on Infantry. This means that Jump Infantry, such as Zag and his boyz, do NOT gain fleet the turn you call a waagh.

It doesnt matter if they have the waaaaaagh! rule or not - it ONLY has an effect on infantry.

The Waagh! rule states all ork infantry gets fleet of foot until end of turn. Anything either not an ork or not infantry will not be affected. The "Waagh!" special rule was more or less randomly copy&pasted on almost all entries of the codex, simply ignore it.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.
