heavy gears a blast . once you get the hang off it you fly through it ! theres a lot of tactical choices . figs look great . i just bought a bunch of modern nscale buildings to do a city fight . lot of fun . the rule book has a poor lay out . hard to find basic rules . i was useing the older blitz rule book to help me us through the game . hope fully the newest streamed line rule set that come out this week . makes it easier to understand for newer players . but overall cool fun , im taking the plunge ! heres some pics of the game sorry not every things painted but it all will be soon !

As a former Northern player (back in the old 1st edition RAFM days) and new Southern Player, I'm quite jealous of all those sharp angles on your gears! I agree that the book could use a bit of reorganization (as well as an index!) but I'll only have used the L&L book once (for a solo game prior to my test game at the FLGS) before I hopefully get my Field Manual this week (assuming the FLGS gets it in time). I don't have the pdf version so I don't know how much that part has changed. Have you thought about using quickstart rules instead? IIRC, they're only 16 pages and I ended up using them for my first game last week. Printed out two per page and doublesided, it's only 4 pieces of paper that you have to leaf through.

Out of curiosity, what is the yellow ring marker indicating?
