OK about the Thunder Cannon. Can the tech Marine be joined by a unit of servitors? and if so can they all be dropped in a drop pod? My thinking is no. but i'm very unsure on it.

Don't have the book here, however as I remember it:

You can take a unit of servitors for each techmarine or MotF.
The techmarine with the thunderfire cannon isn't an IC until the cannon is destroyed.

So even if you can take a unit for the techmarine, I don't think he can join them.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

You can take a unit of servitors for every Techmarine or MOTF in your army... the Unit Composition is:
- 1 Techmarine Gunner
- 1 Thunderfire Cannon

Now a 'Techmarine Gunner' is arguably not a 'Techmarine' for this purpose, but the profile simply reads 'Techmarine' for the listing entry. No drop pod shared with the Servitors, though - the techy is not an IC in this case.

EDIT: Ok, the Tech. Gunner is definitely a Techmarine according to p. 73 - it refers to p. 71 for the description of the Techmarine. Slinky is correct.
