Well, as some of you know, I was given a rather decent sized army of Necrons the other day and set to work fixing and tinkering. I decided I needed a generic C'Tan for the force, so I could use it as whichever I wanted. Now Ive got no GS as well as no skill in GS use, so I have to get creative on how to do things like this. I think its turning out rather decently. Ive got some more work to do on the face of it. Im going with a crested kindda helmet kindda like this but I had to let everything dry nice and hard before attempting, and figured Id throw up where Im at so far. Bunch of pics that are all similar but trying to get all the goodies in there. It sucks taking pics right now as there is no sunlight (still fething SNOWING here) Also this is the first time Ive ever worked with Necrons, and they are a bit of a different feel then Orks.

Either way, here yar, C&C as always.

Kinda looks as though he is wearing a crumpled receipt for a cloak. or perhaps yellowed bath tissue.

Is it regular tissue? You dont let people handle your models, do you?

Im not even sure tissue paper will take paint all that well- I've moistened my fair share to know that your only real option is drybushing.
And then, drybushing tissue paper.

if its shaed with PVA, it will be stiff a a stiff thing and paint will go on normally.

looks good, maybe add a bit of depth to the cloak, and maybe a bit of a 'rock on!" kinda pose, but still, should look cool!
