I think it looks nice enough to show it here, so, any opinions/critiques/whatever?

I'm still working on the models in the back, just wanted to have some tips on this, or critique, whatever you like.
And yes, yes, they do have a purple shine to them, that's the idea.

Really nice. I like the darker silver and the blade looks very well done.

One bit of criticism: It's too good. Makes me want to give up.

Great work!

Only thing I would change is add glow to the eyes, then again I dont know how to do it.

Uhm, I'm using GW paints, and I went from ultramarines blue to one side black (well ofcourse) just by mixing them from 3:1 > 2:1 > 1:1 > 1:2 etc etc.
And the other side from ultramarines blue to hawk turquoise (just because I like the colour ;p) to a little bit (and I mean a little bit) of space wolves grey.
And then slightly glaze it with ultramarines blue.

this was the way if I remember it right. Been two days, was just test painting actually.
And I'm off to try to give the eyes a glow, thanks Grundz ^_^

wow looks great mate well done! How did you do the silver? the only thing you can improve on is the eyes, put a little bit of ice blue on the bottom of the eye and then wash it with a blue wash

The armor is done in quite a few steps, but worth it.

undercoat is black (well ofcourse)
overbrush of Boltgun Metal.
Wash heavily with Leviathan Purple. (Thinned down with water, in ratio's I guess 1 part water, 3 parts wash. And instead of Purple you can use Asurmen Blue aswell.)
Next do a very dry drybrush of Mithril Silver.
Then with a thin brush but Badab Black in the deeper parts, avoid the 'highlights' so far.
Then mix 1 part Leviathan (Or Asurmen), 1 part water and 2 parts of Gloss Varnish and get it over the whole model.
And as final step I used Mithril Silver to get some lines back on there, as edge highlighting I guess.

It gives a nice purple glow to the model I think. Which can be quickly overdone. Just experiment with it.

If I had to have a single critisicsm, which is hard, I would say you should make the plaguebearer head more.....Pustulent.
