Was wondering, does anyone know what war gaming conventions there are in the New England area? I'm thinking something along the lines of Origins, and being new to the region thought this would be a good place to ask. Thanks for the help.

Nothing as big as Origins, I'm afraid! Boston has a lot of gaming events throughout the year, like Boston Brawlcon that you could look into.

Historicon is on par with Origins sizewise. It is in July at Valley Forge PA. See HMGS.org for info.
Primarily a historical gaming convention, there is some 40k and Fantasy too, plenty of it in the dealers hall.
HMGS also runs Fall in and Cold Wars too.

Don't forget about TempleCon!

"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

The Boston Brawl is a 40k event coming up; it's the first weekend in July this year.

Templecon is in Febrary, and is a full-scale Con. Very cool.

heresy. New England extends only as far south as the northern-most Yankees fan.

Temple Con

The Warstore Weekend

Pax East

Those are the three that I would consider the biggest. There are a ton of smaller cons on the east coast though.

???

No and NO.

New England consists of Connecticut, Main, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. Nothing more and nothing less.

Or Sgt. Scruffy's definition. That one works too.
