So, I took a break from everything it being spring break and everything. With my 2 most trusted friends we braved the elements of rain, the river, the waterfall, and the deadly heights to arrive at the top of the Upper Yosemite Falls. Sadly my camera died, but I managed to snap a few photos before I missed out on memories.

I have the worst sunburn of my life but also had the best time Ive had in awhile. My legs have never been more sore.

The geography reminds me of Northern Cyrodiil, near areas like Bruma and Skyrim.

Love it, thanks for posting those.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Adam Smith, who must have been some kind of leftie or something.

lol I havent seen a Diablo reference in years! Brings back those blizzard memories. We saw a brown bear about 40 yards away, I could see the detail of its face on the way back down the mountain and thought it was gonna attack us, but luckily it didnt even start following us, just watched us pass. I dont think my pepperspray and combat knife wouldve phased something that big....Anyway to anyone else reading this: take a break from daily life, go exploring, break the usual routine! You may discover things about yourself you never would in society.

Somewhere in south-central England.

Word up.

Living in big cities like London drains the nature appreciation side of the soul.

My idea of a big hike is to drive to Richmond Park, walk around a bit, and have a nice cup of tea.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Well done!

Getting out in the mountains or forests (or deserts, prairies, or tundra, I suppose) occasionally is great for the soul and the body.

Nice hike, there's nothing like getting out in the wild.

Another mission, the powers have called me away. Another chance to carry the colours again. My motivation, an oath I've sworn to defend. To win the honour of coming back home again.
