OK, I love necron fluff but i never built an army. I found out they may be getting an upgrade soon so i hit up ebay BOOOOOOOM

30 warriors- 20$

I'm winning at this point. Then i think, wel i dont really love the boring all metal look fo necrons and worse, i Hate neon green!

So... I figure living metal.. maybe some sort of ceramic alloy? what better than geen energy???? ...RED energy!

So i did this.

I think it turned out pretty well but im still looking for the red rods. I know they exist somewhere lol.

All C/C and creative details i can add are welcome fo course, thanks

Can't beat Necrons w/ CSM?

Take 2 squads of Nurgle possesed Swooping hawks and haywire both Monoliths turn 1.

Can't fail. Then charge nightbringer with a possesed Lysander w/ MoN.

Just got to think outside the box bro.

You can get red rod right here:

Just have to cut it yourself!

Your paintjob looks good; you should look into a stronger highlight or a wash though. It'll deepen the colors and make the model look a bit more interesting. Looking good for a rank and file though!

The red arm and shoulder blade look almost heraldic. Definitely different.

You can also get red rods that fit from lego starwars lightsabers if I remember correctly .

The paintjob is neat and well done but try to make it look less flat with some more highlighting/shading.
