i command a army IG and my freind commands some orks
it is an annihalation game pitched battle, for my ig list i had 2 platoons of guardsmen each consisting of 20 guardsmen 1 missle squad and platoon command squads aswell as 2 squads of veterans with chimeras, for fast attack i had 2 sentinals and a hellhound. the elites consisted of a vindicare assasin and a squad of 10 kaskrins supporting the army was 2 leman ruses one a with a battle cannon and the other with a executioner. the final heavy support was a basilisk. to command the army i had a lord commisar and a CCS. that was the ig list summarized.

i did have my opponents list and so i can only speculate on what he had sorry for this inconvinence, for hq he had a warboss, for elites he had a squad of 5 kommandos and 5 nobs in a trukk. for his troops he commanded 1 squad of 30 boyz, a squad of 10 trukk boys, a squad of 20 shoota boyz, a squad of 10 boyz and 10 gretchin, for fast attack the orks had 3 deffkoptas with rockets and 2 wartrakks unfortunatley thats all he had on the table as his reserves wouldent come in.

i deployed mostly evreything however my opponent was not so keen to deploy saving his men till later in the game as indeed his men would get blasted of the table if left into the open to counter this he launched a blitz tactic trying to overrun my main line so he could isolate and destroy my units who would be slaughtered in close combat. the orks went first and began to launch their attack the trukk advanced toward some terrain and dismounted "trukk boyz" shows them. along with the trukk the wartrakks advanced also the deffkoptas also were taking position to fire at enemy armour. the 30 man mob advanced and ran forwards "the orks" shows them at the other side gretchin and the shoota boyz had taken position. there was not much shooting although a heavy shoota from a wartrakk managed to kill a guardsman.

for the ig turn kaskrins outflanked and a chimera along with veterans confronted the trukk boyz "chimera and mordians confront the trukk boyz" shows that. on the whole movement was limited however on the shooting phase the a basilisk managed to take down a wartrakk and a the executioner wrecked the other earning a killpoint the 30 man mob took 6 casualties due to a infantry squad and PCS. other than that the gretchin were reduced to 2 grots and a runtherd by a hellhound and the shoota boyz take 2 casualties from the kaskrins " hellhound and kaskrins face gretchins " shows this.

for the 2 ork turn 1 squad of 10 boyz arrived from reserve. for movement the shoota boys revealed themselves and had line of sight of the stormtroopers, the 30 man squad remained although dwindled to 12 boyz " the ork mob advances under heavy fire" shows this. for shooting the deffkoptas destroyed a weapon from the hellhound "hellhound gets its weapon destroyed" shows this also the shoota boys kill three stormtroopers. various slugga shots kill a total of 8 guardsmen. in the assault the mordian veterans are enegaged and take casualties "mordians get assualted by trukk boyz" shows this. for the IG turn 2 movment was again limited although indeed the shooting was devastating as indeed the deffkoptas were wiped out, along with the grots and shoota boys who were uterlly obliterated by the stormtroopers who rolled considerably well "kaskrins rapid fire their hotshot lasguns killing the boyz" shows this. for the assault the mordians were eliminated.

unfortunatley we had to wrap up the game in the middle of turn three however the orks managed to get in their kommandos and engage my lord commisar and the dwindled 30 man squads' rocket launcher managed to immobolize a sentinel.

in conclusion the score was 4-1 imperial victory however he still had alot about to come in my mvp of the match was the stormtroopers whom killed 3 grots and 20 shoota boys. tahnk you for reading.

I play both IG and Orks. Ironicaally, I play Steel Legion IG and i plan on getting Thraka.

However, How did you have a vindicare? they are GK not IG

well i play inqusition and IG i really wanted to use it and since it was a casual game my friend allowed it
