okay I'm looking for some BFS (Big freaking swords) for my terminators as daemonhammers. Anybody know of ANYONE that sells anything like 28mm Claymores?

GK terminator swords.

those are the biggest swords GW sells for a model of that size. the blades alone are the height of a PA dude.

I'll be using the grey knights list though, so Force sword are force swords..

It's called Counts As...
If you used plasticard to make the sword bigger then you would easily be able to tell the difference...

Clearly because hammers are soooo passe.

I'm kind of puzzled as to why you'd want to do it like this though.
Mostly because this kind of 'counts-as' always ends with facepalms.

GKT force swords are already monstrous. How much bigger do you really need to go?

I can't even transport my GKTs in a normal army case because their weapons and poses take up 2x as much room as a 'normal' guy.

If you really want something to clearly be a 'daemonhammer'--just use the force sword with the Inquisitorial insignia on it.

You could always try to pick up sword bits from the DK sets. Those should be suitably large enough.

The chapter master of the first company has a sword called fafnir which is a giant two handed claymore from an STC which is used to kill MC, his dragon lords, (first company equivalent of terminators) use knock offs of this gigantic dragon slaying sword.

I haven't seen those, that might be too big.... great for some dreadnought conversions I might do though. found some max mini swords though..... I just wish they'd make a plastic gabriel seth, so I could use his sword. That's kinda the original inspiration for it.

oh gak that's right, evicerators, they're in plastic form right? somewhere?

nope, all evisorator armed models are metal.

although, there might be some that have the weapon as a seperate piece.

green stuff it around a metal rod. It's pretty easy to cut and make the type of sword that you want once the green stuff has cured.

It's how I made my canoness's eviscerator and Im fairly happy with the results. It definately fits the grotesquely large description of an eviscerator.

course I could always just copy the horse slaying sword, Zanbato:
