Just a simple question

Unit A attacks unit B.
Unit A has S3 PW and unit B has just 1 model. However he has FNP. Is he allowed to get this save for not?

FNP rules are very specific on when you can use it. For your example, If the wound ignores armor saves it bypasses FNP.

Power weapons always deny FNP rolls.

Any instant death weapons will bypass FNP.

What about if the Ap of the weapon is higher than the Sv. ?

Unless it's AP 1 or 2 FNP will work.

Because you are never allowed to take armor saves against AP1 og AP2 weapons. Read the FNP rule.

Uh, it says so right in the FNP rule, pg 75.

I just asked it, since my brother (SM) takes his FNP saves when he attacks my blobs.

read up on the rules, dont get cheated

only that one friend (DE) doesn't take feel no pain saves against your blobs, since he would first have to get pain counters, and doesn't want to play you anymore since he always is treated like he cheats on this particular forum.

Besides maybe you should start reading the rulebook.

I think that one friend is getting all upset about nothing. A rule question was asked and answered. Solve your private game issues during the game.

Anything that never allows armor saves (Ap 1, 2, power weapons, etc) denys FnP.

In this case it's the correct response though. Reading the two relevant rules (power weapons and FNP) would have answered the OP's question immediately. Given the number of poorly-phrased or downright inaccurate answers given in this thread I would bet that the OP's understanding of FNP has actually been actively harmed by a good number of the participants.

I don't really get why you are angry? I ask a question about Feel No Pain and powerweapons. I could have taken a different character if you prefer that? Like my brothers Space Marine Captain or my own gunnery sergeant Harker. I took a Dark Eldar character because I remembered he had Feel No Pain. I could not think of a different character at that moment... I changed the message to Space Marines.

Step 1 buy the rule book.
Step 2 read said rule book
Step 3 profit.

This forem is not a replament for owning the rule book if you can afford the modles you can afford a rule book.

And if you really can't afford the rule book then get the mini rule book from AOBR on ebay.
