Probably work

Okay, so say I want to find something like a discussion of Dark Eldar playstyle versus new Grey Knights in 40k Tactics, I might search for "Grey Knights Dark Eldar" in that particular forum. The problem is that they could also be under "DE GK" or some other equivalent. Would it be possible to have the search algorithm reference abbreviations for things as well as the actual string searched on? When you think about it, we already have the data available to us in that neat mouseover abbreviation database thingy, so I would think it would be (relatively) trivial to reference that and insert the additional terms.

Thoughts?

The search engine cannot index anything under 3 characters long (which most abbreviations are), so it would be of very limited use unfortunately and not worth the fairly substantial effort or server load to implement.
