Im attempting to build a Militia Battalion for FoW Ostfront in Stalingrad and need assistance. Im currently gathering all the price points for the force I need.

I have the majority of it already planned out. Using the "Across the Volga" Rule I hope to initially avoid having to buy the Heavy Artillery guns. Mind you, this is not for a Store Run Campaign or Tourny. This will be purely for my home and personal enjoyment.


My problem is the some 252+ riflemen that I am going to need. For Germans, I never had to really worry about it, so just bought straight from BF/FoW site and Game store merchandise. However, the thought of buying 252 riflemen worth is kind of stomach turning.

I found this on the website, along with a American Retailer that sells it for $30.00

It says, 95 Rifleman/sub machine gun

Anyone know the exact ratio? Seeing as how with the Militia force, its just Rifles!

Also, if anyone knows of a better way (cheaper) Please Share! Remember this is for 15mm!

Looking at the sprue I see 7 SMGs but I think 1 is an officer/nco so that would mean there are 30 SMGs in the box
