I'm currently in the planning stage of a DoA Blood Angels army, i think i'm settled on a starting list (Librarian, Honour Guard, 2 Sang Priests, 3x Melta Assaut Squads, 1 Flamer Assault Squad, 2x Vanguard squads) and have a few simple conversion ideas, to make the army look a bit more Blood Angelish.

Firsly Honour Guard, i was thinking of using a mix of boxes, Death Company, Sang Guard, Command Squad parts etc to make the honour guard. Probably want these to have the Sang Guard wings, but probably not the whole body, or they will just look like Sang Guard. Is that the best way to do them?

Assault Squad seargents, i was planning on using the Sang Guard Torsos, just too make them stand out a bit more, or would that look silly?

Sang Priests, again wanted to use the wings here, but will they look a bit silly when/if they join the Assault squad?

And Vanguard, would it be best to try and convert these as well? The metal set, just look a bit Ultramarine (plus i will be using a PF as well, so would need to swap that), i know they are painted blue on the GW site, but they just don't look like they will be overly BA looking even with a BA paint job.
