Serious sh** is so cash. Makes me want to play my shelved CSM army. Then I take a look at my CSM codex and shun away. But seriously, they are SO BADARSE.

But yeah, the Aspiring Champion's lines are awesome. A few of the others are a tad hammy though.

e: Oh, and the rant is from the first expansion, Winter Assault. Chaos Lord Crull delivers it at the end of his campaign.

Yup DoW was top notch, it's what got me into 40k.

Unfortunate that DoW2's voice acting isn't nearly as good. "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD AGSDGFHSDGSDG!" is replaced with "Chaos Space Marines reporting!".

Though I do like their voices for Bloodletters.

The Possessed were the best. They sounded insane and badass at the same time.

Well there are no Khorne Berzerkers, just CSM with the Mark of Khorne.

You have to remember that they are supposed to be Black Legion, I like what they did: They come accross as the 10,000 year old veterans they should be: Marines given in to seelfishness and their own advancement rather than this:



What I REALLY didn't like was how the Imperial Guard were basically reduced to 'Sci-fi Brits'. I mean hell, Relic were just lazy, they used the same voice actors as they did for the Brits in CoH... No more seasoned cockney vets, instead we get 'Sentinel... what do you want?' Eurgh

I preferred 'YOU DON'T DIE BEFORE I SAY!' 'FOAR THE IMPERIUM OF MAAAAAAAN!' and 'FOR EVERY ONE OF US WHO FALLS, TEN MORE WILL TAKE HIS PLACE'; much more Grimdark.

That's not lazy, it's awesome. The IG for Dawn of War 2 are incredibly well voiced. The regular guardsmen are pretty standard English/Scottish military sounding guys while all the grimdark stuff gets said by the officers. Frankly I think that's a bit more fitting. "I am the law and the lash, and you die when I say you die!" is pretty great. The Catachans are also the baddest asses ever. Also, it gave us this:

That dance of the maggotkin sounds like voice acting from Mark of Chaos. Freaking amazing game. Wish they made it 40k instead of fantasy.

I loved those wacky cultists and heretics. They added a lot of humor to the game.

But that's exactly what cultists do... they are kissing up to you so you'll grant them power.

They're sort of like how I'd imagine Tzeentch's non-psychic followers.
