Are there any clubs or guys who play that live around the Canary wharf or clapham area (where I live and work)? Even London bridge or the City for that matter. Me and a mate from work play together but could do with a couple of more players/armies to get involved1

Here you go. The forum is the easiest place to arrange games, of which there are many. You should be able to find an opponent for just about anything, or failing that, someone willing to give it a go. 40k certainly shouldn't be a problem.

The venue will be changing in the near future, we only have the current room above a pub until the end of october, and discussions are ongoing as to where we'll be moving to, although it should hopefully be somewhere nearby.

This is the one I go to in Clapham - the top floor of the Alexandria Pub gets closed off and we sink a few beers with a WFB + 40K focus.

You can arrange before hand or just turn up - its a pretty relaxed club that has been around for a year. Its a fun n friendly club with more focus on newer players and campaigns rather than tournaments.

There is to be an event this sunday in collaboration with Dark Sphere which should be good - Other meetups are on Thrusdays after 7pm
