I guess I'll actually start at the ending, since I suspect answering these questions will save me from repeating myself.

But I am thinking huskblade and soul trap combo because having Sliscus means I can give him an extra chance at increasing his Strength by 1. Then killing an IC will double his strength. I need the PGL because hes going with the incubi, and there is only four of them, they need their initiative. Maybe the Archon is quite a point sink here.
I generally find when running a Huskblade/Soul Trap Lord that the things I want to charge with him are things I don't want to risk my precious Incubi fighting. I consider Incubi troop killers (preferably big Tactical squads of Marines and their ilk) I don't like my Incubi hunting down stuff like Assault Termies, or
MCs, or Nob squadz, or
TWC, or...y'know,
MCs and all the various things
ICs are usually attached to? I find Wyches work better, because Wyches are harder to kill and help tarpit the unit down while I transform the Archon into a hideous being of superhuman size and strength. I'd suggest either setting up the Lord with Wyches or focusing him on just being some extra oomph for the Incubi. I agree that he is currently more of a point sink than a viable aid to the army.

Trueborn, I think this is the best option for a Sliscus enhanced trueborn squad, correct me if i'm wrong.
I would personally add in Splinter Cannons to the squad.
8 Trueborn w. 6 Carbines and 2 S.Cannons - 146 (18 poison shots at 18" range + 8 or 12 at 36" range - total 26/30)
9 Trueborn w. 9 Carbines - 153 (27 poisoned shots at 18" range)
Cheaper,
better range, more shooting = no brainer.
Especially the better range, lets you bring the functional pain of the Baron that much sooner.
Troops.
The only real question I have on the wych squad, is if dropping flicker fields on their raiders is a good idea. I can get them into close combat pretty quickly and after I do the flicker fields are useless.
Flickerfields are never useless. They protect the dark lance weapon platform and objective contesting fast skimmer that will still be a major threat to any enemy vehicle even after their Wych cargo is deployed - plus they are super tech if your opponent gets the first round of shooting.
Beyond these individual choices. I foresee the list running into lots of problems against mech heavy lists. So without it being a TAC tourney ready list, how will it fair against mostly balanced opponents.
I do not consider mech heavy to be antonymous to
TAC or "balanced" - pretty much every
TAC army I play is mech heavy and also balanced in my opinion. If by "balanced" you really mean non-tourney level list then, certainly, this list will do fine. Any list does, really. I think this list could be a tourney level list if tweaked tighter.
I personally think you don't need either the Incubi or the Archon - as the Wyches are a more than decent assault element by themselves and for the points saved you could field a lot of different things. You would benefit with a bit more anti-tank as you noted.
