Hi im just wondering can grey Knights shunt there 30" as there scout move?

I think that this debate has had extensive coverage in YMDC. I don't think that there's been a clear answer on it either. Personally, I don't think you can scout the 30" shunt as I don't class it as a 'normal' move as it's only a once per game thing.

Imho you can. The shunt doesn't talk about phases or anything: it simply says "instead of moving". And the scout move is indeed a movement. The only addition to shunting outside of scout phase should be that, as usual, you must remain at 12" from the enemy while scout shunting.

That said, like many things in that codex, there will be somebody arguing one way or the other until FAQs are out.
