Golden Daemon is Games Workshop's official annual painting competition, held at their Games Day events.

It's the Painting Competition run by GW and held every year at the various Games Day events around the world.
There are loads of different categories, such as single miniature, diorama, duel, monster, vehicle, squad etc. with highly commended, bronze, silver and gold "demons", which are basically trophies, as well as the Slayer Sword which is given to the best model in the competition.
