I play Space Wolves and i was wondering about something. When an opponet kill members of you squad before you counter attack. Do you remove models right then or do you counter attack with all the models that were in the squad when you were assualted?

I treid to find it in the rule book book and ive played both different ways in two different stores.

If your opponent was killing them at higher initiative then you, they would not get to counter-attack or attack at all.

Combat is resolved at each Initiative step. A model that is killed before its turn in the Initiative order is reached is unable to attack. If both sides have models striking at the same initiative, then the models get to make their attacks before casualties are removed.

Are they alive when it comes to there initiative?
If yes then the surviving models get to counter attack
If no then they are dead and no attacks :(


you still follow the units initiative stat for determining order so if your models are dead before they use the ability they are dead and get no attacks.
