Anybody here ever consider running Weirdboys with Burnas or Tankhuntas? It seems like a lot of the Weirdboy's powers would complement those two elite choices.

your basement

maybe burnas thanks to they're pw potential

but i would stick him in a mob of boys if anything

i consider him to the most fun HQ but not reliable at given cost

even nobs would be a good choice thanks to their survivability

I will be trying out a Warphead Sunday in a mob of 30 shoota boyz. I'd highly recommend the warphead upgrade for the reroll, and if you can Zoggy, a lot more points but an extra wound and T5, actually solid in combat too 2+D6 poison attacks that always wound on a 2+ plus factor in furious charges and warpath. Plus if you don't want to risk an deep strike or 'ead banger when you don't want it you can chose to use Zoggys curse. The one downside I see with putting him in with something like burnas or nobz is their low numbers affect the leadership and that affects the chance to pass the psychic test.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd
-Alexis de Tocqueville.
