I wouldn't pick up Falchions as the banner already gives them the bonus attacks; no need to spend more points there. Keep the Psycannon; at that points level, short of playing Green Tide Orkz or Nids you'll have all the firepower you need without having to resort to the Incinerator. Besides, you want to keep stuff at arm's length before moving into assault.
I'm going to assume by the use of halberds that you're using the old metal models, right? Otherwise I'd recommend dropping them in favor of Psybolts or something, but that's me.
Also, are the Dreads equipped with two Autocannons or just one?

Nope all new plastics  just thought int 6 troops more a problem then keeping a sword with no bonus.... and if i take falchions as well as banner i get more attacks plus counter attck from GKGM..... and no only a single auto, powerfist + stormbolter..... effectively a 2 shot heavy bolter and still a close combat weapon incase somethine goes wrong ( as it normally does)
only reason i ask which is better is because more attacks from a erminaor will more then likly wipe a 10 man SM squad flat wont it??

Meh, if not for the fact that Strike squads only have 1 attack I'd be glad to recommend halberds, but such as it is I would take swords; keeps them cheap and they still can do some damage in close combat. The army works best at shooting the enemy to death and squashing the remains in close combat. The reason I wouldn't recommend falchions+the banner is because you don't want to reach a point where your unit is so effective in close combat that you end up in the open after wiping that unit out and being shot to bits as a result.
For the Dreads, if you aren't going to take double Autocannons I'd recommend running them with either a Multimelta or Assault Cannon+Psybolts so they can support the troops a little better.
I wouldn't give the GM anything other than a sword; that 3++ in combat is too good to pass up on and he already benefits from an extra attack thanks to the Banner and short of only playing against Dark Eldar or Stealer Shock lists, he's perfectly fine at Initiative 5.

so only termies with halbards oki, is it worth dropping a dread and using my spare points to make a small purifier squad?
with getting a troop support dread with assault cannons +psy-bolt is it not taking my AT ability away?

x10 Purifiers /w x6 Halberds + x4 Psycannons
Razorback + Assault cannon + Search light
= 373
x10 Purifiers /w x6 Halberds + x4 Psycannons
Razorback + Hunter Killer
= 347
Dreadnought /w x2 Twin-Linked Auto cannon + Psybolt ammo = 130
Total = 1000
So the Idea is to combat squad the Purifiers up into a group of all psycannons+1 halberd, and the other 5 riding in the Razorback. toss the razor backs mid field, and set the purifiers to work. while the psycannons hold ground and lay heavy fire. Crowe will probably eat it... unless your playing very very smart

nice list but i dont like crowe. the power armour special characters are imo useless, crowe w2? oki, and the generic one is only wound 1 with nothing special to speak of except combat styles in assault......wtf! Automatically Appended Next Post: plus if i take a grand master i make purifers scoring units anyway..... so why not take a brother captain instead or scrap search light, hunter killer and one of the autos on dread to get GKGM better chances to survive and capabilities are better

Errr, I thought you were running a 1000 point list. meaning no purifiers would be run along with 2 other troop choices.
I agree that Crowe sucks, but he's not the list, the Purifiers are. and having 2 squads of them as troops in a 1000 point game more than makes up for his weaknesses. and the seach light HK was just to make up some points.
but hey, its just an idea

i ment more run 2 strike squads with a unit of purifers in a razorback for last minute objectives etc, Automatically Appended Next Post: Using you idea of Crowe would this list work better

what do you think?
and when i go to 1500pts i only need to add a raider..... maybe a 10man purifier unit with falchions to charge out of it with incinerators......

I would highly suggest dropping the banner and giving the whole squad Halberds for free. The banner is useful for ten man squads but the benefit won't be felt as much with a five man team.

Yeah i like that a lot, wont be to many units standing up to 6 psycannons! And purifiers have to be the meanest cc... Ever!
Although the list is going to miss the S8 autocanons. But you do get the extra scoring unit (maybe some extra fexibility)

I just woke up aswell, and 10 psy-cannons gonna make a mess out of most things gribbley or otherwise. only worry is Raiders at 1000pts because you know someone will be stupid enough to take one or 2 in 1000pts

Looking at your original list, I'm thinking more and more you should replace the Grandmaster with a Librarian. Cheaper, a little more tactically flexible and you really haven't got anything to make scoring (the Dreads might be able to but until there's an FAQ that's a rules argument waiting to happen), so the Grandmaster is a huge pointsink and his rules can't be really exploited until you hit the 1850 or 2000pt range.
That said, I'd run something like this:
Librarian - 170
-Halberd
-Might of Titan, Shrouding, Sanctuary
Vindicare Assassin - 145
Strike Squad - 230
-Double Psycannon
-Daemonhammer on the Justicar
Terminator Squad - 225
-2 Daemonhammers
-3 Halberds
-Psycannon
Dreadnought - 115
-Fist
-Multimelta
Dreadnought - 115
-Fist
-Multimelta
Just a nice, shooty list. The Dreads walk with the Strike squad, providing some fire support, psychic defense, and a few S10 hits in combat if neccessary.
The Terminators+Libby can deep strike in and wreak some havoc; you can cast Hammerhand+Might of Titan in your own assault phase and tear though stuff at Initiative AND Strength 6, and during your opponent's turn drop Shrouding and Sanctuary.
The Vindicare...let's just say I noticed the list still had a convenient 145pts left over. Instead of taking that, you could go for a unit of 5 Purgators with 4 Incinerators in a Rhino and master-craft a random weapon. Whatever works for you.

sounds nice, i think im going to try my crowe list...... its all power armour for once ( im seeing alot of termie lists about) and no dreads its all just men which when you look at fluff ( the 3 books i mean) is what happens its very rare to see alot of terminators go into one battle ..... when i have done that list i mite go for your suggestion but we'll see

The Crowe list you posted isn't bad, though you'd only have a single transport and it's not for either 10-man squad. I'd probably drop two Purifiers (the ones with the 3rd and 4th Psycannons, respectively) and pick up some rhinos for them.
I'd also drop the Daemonhammer on the Knight of the Flame and just give him a Halberd, giving it to another model and maybe picking up a second one for the squad. Gives you a potential four attacks over three and you aren't screwed if the KotF Perils himself.
Alternatively, you could also drop the 5-man squad and pick up a Dreadnought with enough points leftover for an Ordo Xeno Inquisitor with Hammerhand and Rad Grenades. Attach him to a Purifer squad and watch them kill anything from hordes of Orkz/Gaunts/Guardsmen with a combination of S5 vs T2/3 + Cleansing Flame, or tear through multi-wound models (S5 vs T3/4/5 + Purifiers activate Force Weapons).
I would even recommend the idea of dropping the 5-man Purifiers for a 5-man Purgation squad with 4 Incinerators.
Just a thought.

Sounds cool except i have 2, razorbacks in that list for my first point and y not just swap out some psycannons for incinerators instead of getting a purgation unit which IMO is not worth the points? the idea is in a KP game to use the razor backs as mobile cover, in non-KP games combat squads halberds rush forwards in razor backs while the other 3 units hang back and lay down a steady stream of 10x heavy 4 shots..... im sorry but if im throwing out 40 str 7 shots there aint alot gonna be left stood up if i converge the shots at a single target is there? rhinos are fun but twin-linked heavy bolters with psy-bolts is just more annoying espcially when its an additional 6x str 6 twin linked.......

i know but most armies are going to be running after me in turn 1/2 anyways so 24" is more then enough for wat i need plus its a nice fluff to use a full purifier army, instead of deploying "fresh" brothers (strikes) or termies, its fallen to the brothers of the flame to purify the planet.....
