Mmmm, as a quick suggestion - I would advocate you looking over the
DE tactica (link is in my sig) as a good way to get a ground level introduction to
DE.

At 1000 points I think the flesh gauntlet is not an optimal investement, and I personally consider the Hexrifle sub par. Considering your plan is to put him into a Raider that will optimally be wanting to shoot at things 12" away I would suggest the Liquifier over the Hex Rifle.

I personally think you're wasting points getting the extra 4 guys for this Raider. The bigger squads with S.Cannons will be better at shooting up infantry. Honestly I'd probably shift this Raider into a Wrack or Wyches Raider to give you some assault punch, and that would pair nicely with your apparent goal to have the Haemy involved in assaults.

5 Warriors w. Blaster
Venom w. extra S.Cannon.
It does everything the above squad does and does it as good but costs significantly less.

Rework the squads to bring an additional Troop option - you have a lot of points you could save and then be able to field an additional unit on top of everything, which would be much better for
DE. I suggested an assault squad, but honestly at 1000
DE can go all shooty very easily, though you want multiple small squads rather than a few big squads if you want to go shooty.
