Questions that hurt my brain:
(Sorry if it's been covered a million times.)

Q: Can the main unit (Burnas) on the table embark on the Open Topped Transport already carrying an IC (Ghaz)?
A: Yes, assuming it has enough space. Covered in ICs and embarking.

Q: Can the Transport (Battlewagon) move after that main unit(Burnas) embarks (as long as it hasn't already moved during the current Movement phase)?
A: Yes it can move, no issues there. Same as any other time a unit embarks before the vehicle moves.

Q: Can the IC (Ghaz) that's already embarked (and hasn't yet made a move) disembark from the Open Topped vehicle (Battlewagon)?
A: Yes, again covered in ICs rules.

Q: At the end of the Movement phase (after the IC disembarks) is the IC (Ghaz) considered its own unit apart from the main unit still embarked on the Open Topped Transport (Battlewagon)?
A: Yes.

Can that now disembarkred IC (Ghaz) assault in the Assault Phase?
A: Yes.

Brain still no worky with question 3.

This portion of the BRB is what causes my question. Page 67 (IC's Embarking and Disembarking) BRB states: "If an independent character and a unit are both embarked in the same vehicle they are automatically joined. The unit and the IC may, in a later movement phase, disembark as a single unit" or "...separately..."

The way i read it (and I could be way off), once the IC and the unit are in the tank together, they must join and must remain joined until a later movement phase. The IC would not be able to disembark separately in the same movement phase that a unit embarks with the IC.

Yes, he can, because it states that if they both embark, or if one was already embarked, they become joined. However, if the IC was already embarked, and the unit then embarks, while they do become joined, to stay joined to the unit the IC must end within the 2" coherency or stay embarked. There is nothing that says the IC that was already embarked cannot disembark that movement phase, it states that they may not disembark together in the same phase as the unit has already embarked that turn and you cannot embark and disembark the same unit in the same turn. But if the IC is already embarked, then he has not embarked yet that turn, so he can still disembark, and still satisfy all of the rules that have been stated, as the unit did not disembark with him.
