The rule in Question

"If Grey Knight Strike Squads, Interceptor Squads, or Models in terminator armor wish to teleport onto the battlefield..."

Question 1)

A Dreadknight with a Personal Teleporter may enter play via deepstrike. As it follows the same movement rules as Interceptors would it scatter?
(My guess is no, as it is not specifically mentioned on the list)

Question 2)

The librarian has the power, "Summoning" that removes a squad from the table and makes them deep strike within 6" of the librarian. If the librarian has a Teleport Homer and chooses a Strike Squad, Interceptor Squad, or a unit in Terminator armor, do they gain the benefit of the Teleport homer?
(I would guess a tentative yes, as they are mentioned in the list and are deep striking, though in a non-normal way. The question is does it count as "teleporting"?)

Question 3)

The same as question 2, but this time only some of the members of the unit are in terminator armor. (example purifier squad with an attached Grand Master). Does this squad gain the benefits of the teleport homer when the DS via Summoning?
(I have no clue on this one)

Question 1- No, it's not one of the named units.

For the other two it's tougher, teleport isn't actually a thing it's a fluffy wording. I would say i's 50/50 but I would tend on the side of no as you're being summoned not 'teleporting'

Violence isn't the answer, I just like getting it wrong on purpose.

Teleporting is not fluff, but a variant of deep striking, which is even allowed if the mission forbids it. It has been defined in this exact way across many codices. Summoning is not teleporting.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.

Show me the rules for 'Teleporting'

It's clear in the Space Marine Codex there is no such thing as Teleporting as a rule, it's just the Teleport Homer only works on Terminators.

Pick up Codex: Space Marines. Find Wargear. Find Terminator armor. Read Paragraph about teleporting. Put Codex down.

Pick up Codex: Space Wolves. Find Wargear. Find Terminator armor. Read Paragraph about teleporting. Put Codex down.

Pick up Codex: Blood Angels. Find Wargear. Find Terminator armor. Read Paragraph about teleporting. Put Codex down.

Pick up Codex: Grey Knights. Find Wargear. Find Terminator armor. Read Paragraph about teleporting. Put Codex down.

Pick up Codex: Chaos Space Marines. Find Wargear. Find Terminator armor. Read Paragraph about teleporting. Put Codex down.

And those are only the ones I actually checked.

Question 1 will likely be FAQ'd to work.

However the Summoning definitely does not benefit from Teleport Homers. (Same as GoI).

Those are not rules for 'Teleporting' You just have the ability to Deep Strike. They don't have the 'Teleport' rule or anything like that, teleporting is just fluff.

No, wrong. It states they deepstrike by teleporting.

Thus, they teleport and do so using the deepstrike rules

Teleport homers only work on units arriving via Teleport. NOT any unit that deepstrikes. That is why there is a difference between a teleport homer and a locator beacon.

So shooting is just fluff, because they have no "Shooting" rule or anything like that? That is clearly in the rules sesction of those armors, and as some gear even refers to teleporting, you may not ignore it as fluff.

Bennowar: That's still a teleport rule

From the GK codex (as that is the relevant one)

"Any model wearing Terminator Armor can be teleported onto the battlefield. They may always start the game in reserves and arrive by deep strike..."

The issue at hand here is whether the first sentence is "fluff" or "rules".

There is no mention of the word "teleport" in any of the rules or fluff for the summoning. (it is a "warp bridge")

Honestly, I am just going to wait for the GK FAQ. (as I am waiting for answers to about 5 other questions as well)

Off Topic: Space Wolves in Terminator armor can NOT deep strike via teleporting. They are afraid of it or something. That is why they ride in drop pods instead.

Their just jump infantry right the guys with the teleporter back packs, but it just says that jump infantry have the deepstrike rule, so how do they enter combat? do they just suddenly exist in it? since it dosnt clarify and they leave it up the the imagination in the GK situation.

Svendrex: Yup, they copy+pasted the terminator armor as in any other codex and replaced a paragraph with one mentioning that the can not be teleported, unlike other chapters.

By the way, found another teleport rule: Suprise Assault, Eldar Codex pg. 36(Warp Spider Exarch).

Not really, it specifies that they cannot arrive via deepstrike by teleport; which is still indicating that Deepstrike by teleport is a specific thing, one that is forbidden for Wolves to do.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

Nowhere does it say that the suit allows teleportation, it merely says that other Chapters often deploy their Terminators via teleportation.

From the "not really" at the start of his post and quoting me, I thought he was disagreeing. My mistake!
