so how much would it cost for a squad of five terminators to get them painted to this quality, I'll eventually have five different schemes which i'll post on here later. Well maybe not QUITE to this level these are damn near GD quality, but nice. displayable.

Commission painting is never cheap. It takes what, 1-2 hours per model to paint like that? Even at UK minimum wage, that's ~£60 or $99 per 5 models, excluding the cost of the models themselves or any consumables, shipping etc.

Either be prepared to put in the hours, or put the hours at work instead to pay for commissions. It's a time consuming hobby we have!

Depends on the detail level of the model, size of model, detail level of painting requested.

£60-90 per model for some of the better artists on CMON.

I've seen someone crank out a VERY decent model in under 15 minutes. I think I'll just ask him to do it.

Throw out a number that is what you ideally want, and negotiate down or up accordingly.
