I have seen some of these posted elsewhere and the sculpting is both exquisite and mildly disturbing

I have been eying everything they make for use as minis in a Cthuluh RPG... they are exquisitely disturbing

Wow, first time I've seen these minis---and they just ooze character/atmosphere. Great work with whomever is directing the vision of the sculpts...

Another phenomenal model, bursting with such morbid character!

Is "Shrimp" some form of prawn/man hybrid?

I look forward to hearing more about the game, it sounds right up my street!

Wow, just.... wow!

I really love the theme of the game, very Jules Verne/Conan Doyle meets Lovecraft/Clive Barker.

While the price of the miniatures definately puts them out of my range, I think they are fairly priced for the quality of the sculpts. Now if only they came pre-painted to the standards shown on the site...

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Yoor Speeshawl too Gawd!

They have a German helmet gasmask robot with a Pickelhaube. Must have.

These Smart Max models are fantastic. Really, really great work.

I have been thinking about ordering a few of the miniatures just to paint up--but if anyone in my area reads this and is interested in playing the game, well, let me know, I'd be up for buying a copy.

How does this game play? They look great, and some of those monsters would do great against the SWAT teams I have Vs. Cthuhlu guys I have.

Simply amazing!

Brilliant, brilliant, BRILLIANT models. They really capture everything that similar lines like Malifaux have only sort of gotten: the phantasmagorical, the humorous, and the beautiful all at once. Really nice work.

Say, who did you demo model paints, SMax Ced?

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Some amazing models there.

I particularly liked the Golem, a great modern (well, Victorian) reimagining of the traditional golem concept - this (and several others) could be perfect as a monstrous creature in a steampunk-themed 40K army?

And I'm totally stealing Major Dreadful's bionic arm idea - so cool. (And Winston's gasmask is a neat touch.)

Gorgeous. Very interested in how the game plays.

“It was in lands of the Chi-An where she finally ran him to ground. There she kissed him deeply as he lay dying, and so stole from him his last, agonized breath.

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”

Many thanks

You'll be able to download the rules online in a few days.

One important thing to know though : you can play any character you like, no matter if some members of your league are sworn enemies ! Like in the Watchmen or the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen...

Very nicely sculpted stuff. It has a Malifaux feel to it. Not my style, but still very nicely done.

You guys realise that there is a scale difference between these and Malifaux?

I like the sculpting on these though, I could imagine buying just for display painting.

Ooh free downloadable rules? I like!

So with your group, you can mix and match between different factions? That's cool.

Wow, umm, just WOW. Great sculpt and the paintwork just sets it off perfectly. Although it isn't in a scale I would purchase, I have to say that your minis are superb quality.

Gorgous minis but how big are they because 37.50 euros for one mini is extremely pricey.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

1/ 35th scale. round the same scale as Inquisitor guys with thier 54mm.

As for the price, thats the same price as those other companies like DUST, Inquisitor, etc. The scale of game is a little off for wargaming, but for Historicals, I've seen a few of those big ones and your going to need a bigger boat when playing a game like this one.

The couple of Smog figures I have suggest top quality though regardless of the price. They are very nice pieces indeed.

I can't imagine how a game would work, many of the figures are almost mini-dioramas like the above Lord Holmes with his shrimp-in-a-box or figures with other bits of scenery on their bases.

A bit like this...

I see the range has expanded since I first bought some, I have Jeremiah Crow and Miss Ticklenott.

Beautiful minis and an interesting setting.

Unfortunately, it's far too expensive for what my needs would be for a "diversion" wargame as a secondary "minis" game.
