I'm going to download for the third year and i was wondering if any of my fellow dakka-nauts are making the heavy metal pilgrimage this year or if no download what festivals are you going to.

Was going to go to download too and gave the money to a mate to sort out the tickets, bastard stole the money and is taking his girlfriend instead.

I wouldn't mind going to reading, but alas...

I am seeing Foo Fighters in MK in July though

I am going to a few US Festivals this year. This weekend I will be going to the start of Memphis in May, which is the Beale Street Music Festival. Will be my third time watching The Flaming Lips within a year. So pumped.

Then in June I will be heading to the good old Bonnaroo in Tennessee. Lineup isn't nearly as strong as I would like it to be, but Bonnaroo is more about the experience than the music. But the Music helps a lot.

Then I am thinking of going to Lollapalooza, because that lineup this year is pretty hot.

Hitting Lollapalooza as well, though I get free tickets through a friend so I'm not so concerned with the lineup.

Chowderhead is going to a TON of music festivals.

They are all A Cappella, however.

It would be cool to go to Warped Tour... I haven't been there in a while. Most likely I might be going to the Gilroy Garlic Festival in Gilroy, CA, USA, Earth, Milkyway (in case no one knew where it was).

There is something going on that is eight bands playing in three nights for $125 for all three nights that I am going to, but other than that, not much over here.

I was hoping to go to Bloodstock, but I lack funds, transport and people whom I trust to go with.

i wanted to go see foo fighters but we coudn't get ticktes fast enough

So that is where all the good line-ups disappeared to...'

In AUS we are currently experiencing a drought in good bands at festivals...

Last decent festival worth attending was in 2007!
