Beside's GW tournies ( not that there are any), what tournaments still require Cit only models? Adepticon? NOVA? BOLSCON? etc etc etc

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

Adepticon doesn't. The majority of the models in the army do have to come from said gaming system, but you are definitely free to supplement your forces with other company's models otherwise.

I'd be surprised if any tournaments have such a rule in place anymore, but the world is a big place...

yakface's 40K rule #1: Although the rules allow you to use modeling to your advantage, how badly do you need to win your toy soldier games?
yakface's 40K rule #2: Friends don't let friends start a MEQ army.
yakface's 40K rule #3: Codex does not ALWAYS trump the rulebook, so please don't say that!

On a sombreo, wearing a deckchair.

There are GW Tournies, but not many over on your side of the world. There are at least 12 a year over here, and many more that i cannot think of.

But at least 50% of the model has to be GW.

And a couple of tournies I have seen have had this rule.
But it doesn't fully matter.
